Day 13
61 Hours Fasted

100% compliance for a second straight 3 day fast. Two refeeds ago (last Sunday), hydrated and fully carb depleted, pre-refeed, I weighed in at 202.6#. I'll take 5.8# down in 144 hours anytime.

Plan is to cut to about 12% @ 185# and then get back under the bar for a recomp. Def counting on muscle memory as I haven't seen the inside of a gym for almost 18 months.

Been on my grind, aside from fat loss, for 12 days pretty much non-stop. Flamed out yesterday afternoon with my #1 ToDo undone. Today's a day of rest. It's time and I'm quite sure I've earned it.

Key to adherence has been sequestering myself in the evening. I had already been doing this to some extent, but leveled up yesterday. Typically fast falls occur when I find myself in the kitchen in the evening. The only reasons to be there are to clean up, feed others, or get a drink. After last week's massive prep effort and tweaking the daily schedule, I've completed my daily feeding commitments by 4 at latest. In spite of this, I have been scampering down to the kitchen when I hear Pop or the kids go down to help out (and ensure clean up) and to refill iced tea. That has led to a couple fast breaks. Last night, I stayed out. Let everyone self serve and mess to their heart's content, let Pop clatter away undisturbed, and prepped myself a half gallon of tea, so no refill required. Perfect.

House is quiet, which is just lovely. Time to finish my morning practice, throw some pork shoulder on the smoker, journal a bit, and, oh yeah, scheme out my refeed!
