Day 79 of my 90-day program was awesome and what it's supposed to be. I woke early and packed my lunch, after coffee I headed out the door for a 5-mile walk. Work went smoothly and I made the decision to finish the 72 hr. fast I have planned for the weekend.

Determination: firmness of purpose; resoluteness.

I am determined to finish the fast this weekend. I know it's hard, but I've done it so many times before, I can do it! Just have to keep my determination.

Must plan how I want the last 10 days to go. Can I put everything I have learned so far into action? Yes I can, and seeing the end of this program is very motivating. I will then have a day off and then start a new program. I'm planning a 30-day "boot camp" where I walk and workout 6 days a week and rest on the seventh. I want to record how many crunches I can do at the start and record my progress each day. I also want to do pushups but I cannot do even one to start. I also want to see if I can work my way up to one pull up. I also want to do squats and stairs at the park.

For my "boot camp" diet, I'm thinking of eating about the same as now. I will also fast 24 hrs once a week. Then I will reevaluate and make the next program. I find that with smaller bites (pun intended) I have more success than just one long life of dieting. lol

Day 77 of my 90-day program was weird. Started off feeling like I was running late, when actually I was early. The road to work (there is only one) was closing at 9:00 for a parade, so I had to go to Pinetop and walk at Woodland Park. I was shocked to see it mostly dried up, but thankfully the Monsoons arrive today.

Normally, I would close for the holiday, but my neighbor was opening and I didn't want him to be alone. I also wanted to do some extra cleaning and touch-up painting. So, I was uncomfortable on my walk. I don't like the path at this park and so I stopped at only 2 miles walk.

I had planned only one meal and ended the day with two. I didn't eat anything but keto food, but wish I would have skipped dinner. Now, I don't think I will lose any weight this week. Hope I didn't gain. Today, I'm hungry and don't know why. I didn't eat any extra carbs so normally my appetite would be manageable. Now, I want to eat and eat. I will drink more water, that helps sometimes.

Anyway, not much to complain about, I just wish I was going to hit my goal this week and it seems I won't. It is what it is, and there is always next week to do better. Have a great day everyone!

Day 76 of my 90-day program was another awesome day! I woke naturally at daybreak, drank coffee, made lunch and headed out for a 5 mile walk. I added some stretching and crunches. Felt great at work all day. Now, for those who don't know, I often felt tired and sick at work and had a slump every afternoon after eating. No amount of coffee helped, and I sometimes needed a short nap. I don't have that any more.

Now, I do suffer from inflammation in my joints, tendons, and muscles. This had gotten so much better. I say about 80% better, and hope for more improvement as I lose the last 15 lbs. Detoxification through fasting really helps flush out the bad stuff.

I only ate one meal, but it was a pretty big one. I was completely satisfied. To many calories to lose weight though. I stopped at the park on the way home and walked another mile, as usual this killed my evening appetite.
