I lost weight almost 3 kg after first day of dry fasting, that’s how much water I lost!!!

Yesterday I felt craving for food in the late afternoon.

This morning after waking up my urine was very yellow, and I felt burnt a very slightly bit during urination, probably because my blood becomes very acidic now.

Surprisingly this morning I don’t feel hungry as I normally feel. For few moments I think about food, but the craving isn’t as much as expected.
87.2 kg Lost so far: 0.8 kg.    Still to go: 22.2 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.

Well done! The max I had lost within a day was 2kg during wet fasting when i was heavier (when around 86kg). Urine very yellow is likely due to ketosis not fully kicked in yet. When your body start to generate more metabolic water from the fats breakdown, the urine will become light yellow or even clear ;)

My urine becomes clearer since yesterday around afternoon. I never know about urine becomes clearer while in ketosis before. And I lost that much water weight should be counted as a sign that I normally overdrank water 😓.

Yup, amazing right? Don't drink water but urine actually become clear instead of very yellow. Yea, after this experience & realisation I stopped using water tracker app nor aim for 3litre of water daily. Just drink when I feel like it during my wet fasting. Currently I'm on Dry Fasting. Started at 8am and went for my morning walk/ stairs-climbing which I sweated out 600g of perspiration. Feel a bit thirsty but by doing the oriental method of tongue touching roof of mouth and slow breathing, I could induce a lot of salivation to relieve thirst.

It was amazing but I still think that for regularly exercise drinking a lot of water routinely not only while thirsty is better 🤔 How about sweat? Do you sweat much as you should?

Yes, my shirt was drenched and there was a 600g drop from my weight after the morning exercise. Nice synchronicity, I just saw a trending post on r/Dryfasting (Reddit thread) about someone doing a combination of OMAD and DF. He drinks only during his one meal of the day. Reminds me of what you posted here :)
