- 3 lbs Zippity do dah. Not sure it will hold b/c I was sick for 2 days with noro virus (or similar). Couldn't actually keep anything down or in. Headache, weak, joint pain, dehydrated as well as the other "crappy" symptoms. Wasn't able to take meds for two days, no insulin. Blood sugar running amuck.Finally better today.

The week wasn't a total loss. Went to a beautiful greenhouse in CT. Vibrant colors, fragrances, and textures. 100 + year old citrus fruit trees bursting with fruit. I saw what was a perfect flower with soft pink edges on a compact powder puff petals (some kind od a camellia hybridized in New Zealand) The aisles were a bit tight to maneuver and I was glad I had lost thirty five pounds before going there. We went out to lunch at a cute little local eatery, Debbie's Place. I stuck to my guns with my usual salad, while my travel mates indulged in tuna melts and chips.

I have a doctor appointment on Wednesday. Can't wait to see his reaction to my successes. I'll report later in the week, b/c, YES, I'm going to brag.
