Maintenance Day 30
Waist = 34 3/4"; No Change

If anybody has successfully overcome metatarsalgia, I am all ears! Currently neck deep in calf/foot stretching, gel pads, and etc. This limp thing is not the best look!

Incline: 5X175; Up 10#; PR
Bench: 2X205; Down 3; Miss 4

Stayed away from the squat rack yesterday. Stuffed to the gills with chicken and rice post workout. And strawberries... Bought another flat at $0.99/lb this time. Barely came in at 1700k on the day. Feel like I missed logging something because I had to literally force down the last of the chicken and rice...

Been shopping for summer clothes because everything is hanging. Hope to finish up today and hit the tailor next week.

Geriatric rando solicited fashion advice in the thrift. Turns out dude was a retired senior lobbyist with some really interesting experience. He had scored a Burberry's sport coat in new condition that, with a little tailoring, was perfect for him. I love meeting successful people who are as cheap as I! Best thing I learned from my Ex-Wife was how to shop. She is unparalleled. To me, the flex is not sporting the latest most expensive, proper logo, etc. that you've been spoon fed by the media... It's rocking a great look with objectively high quality product for a small fraction of retail cost. I love knowing that you overpaid!

Sun's Out! Roasting awaits!

Let's go!

PS - Gyms full of horrific singers! Who knew? Forgot my earbuds and ended up lifting to a chorus of off key public singers. Horrible. Hysterical. Very distracting. Pretty sure I was robbed of some gainzz. Also pretty sure that I have been that dude.. Check yourself...

Rocking at as always JP! ✅✅✅ For the metatarsalgia, sounds like your doing all the right stuff. Do you have any met pads in your shoes?? Can be a peel and stick thing, placed directly behind the met heads. If you can tolerate the met arch increase it can help to reduce the pressure. Hoping you get relief! Grind on!!

I love the reference to thrift store shopping. I was raised by a skinflint mom and I consider it a sport. It just doesn't feel right to pay full price. I have extensive gardens and I buy my plants postseason when thy are 75% off and look dead. I plant them and they come back beautiful the next year.

Lol! I would not be caught singing in public. Dogs howl whenever I sing!!! I think it's hilarious when people think they sing well, but actually don't! Great job on needing new clothes!!! I love your perspective! I'm sure I definitely spend/spent more than you! I don't generally shop thrift stores but I try to shop great deals! I just had to replace my entire wardrobe because nothing fit. I kept a diary for a week of what I wanted to wear each day. Then only bought those items. Felt that was better than just buying a bunch of mismatched stuff because I thought it was cute or whatever. Saved some money that way. I have a ton of clothes to donate now, so I see the appeal of thrift shopping! I bet there's alot of great finds out there! Congrats on your victory!! I hope your feet feel better soon!
