Only up 1/8" on the back of an 1800k Cheesesteak refeed. I'll take it!

Hit the wall pretty hard the last few days. Calories steady on the up. You know what's coming. Decided to attempt to preempt and use my post lift meal for a planned mini-binge. Thus was birthed Jimmie's Ultimate Anabolic Cheesesteak!

Grilled up a perfectly marbled slab of Flat Iron that's been soaking in my Cilantro Lime marinade for over a week. Open flame charred and threw in a little Hickory for a touch of smoke. Tossed a couple sliced Red Onions in Olive Oil in a cast iron skillet and threw on the grate on a whim. Result was perfectly caramelized and slightly smoky. Toasted a 12" hoagie roll and slathered with smashed Garlic Confit. Topped with 12 oz of sliced medium rare Flat Iron and 4 thick slices of deli Provolone. Into the broiler @jheeden style. Once melty and toasty, topped with a handful of shaved Parm and back into the broiler! Then topped with the onions and a generous squirt of Jimmie's own Chipotle Aioli. Pro folded and double wrapped in a deli sheet and butcher paper for a proper, adult, mess free sammy experience.

Hit all my macros! Put me about 600k over on the day and up about 700k on the week vs. last week. Forced myself to finish that bad boy. We'll see if that little dalliance helps abate the craves, or opens the flood gates... Would welcome the former, at least for a couple days.

Sun's finally clearly and unequivocally out, which makes sense, because the weekend's over, pool's closed and there's work to be done.

OMG.... that description literally made my mouth water. Gonna def break out the Grill this weekend and throw on a slab of some kind of red meat if it's not too hot down here in sunny so cal. Great job, chef jimmie!

Strongly recommend the Flat Iron if you can get it. Delish cut, plus I'm paying like 7-8 a pound at the restaurant supply, which is super bargain territory atm.

Agrees with ImLaura, the way you used your words to describe the way you prepared your meal is awesome and truly mouth watering, reading alone, so can imagine how it really tasted. Keep it up, love it
