SPRING RECOMP - DAY 18
LIFT DAY

Back under the bar yesterday after a leisurely 3 day vaxx recovery. Handily beat my deadlift target - 12 X 175# vs 5 X 175#. Up 2 BW chins to 8, even as the scale is up. And most importantly - zero pain. I have been fighting through the twitching back for two weeks, obsessing over form and core tightness on every squat and dead rep, and yesterday... crickets... I accept!

Nailed the gym timing. Almost empty weight room. Perfect. Except the rando who wanted to bond over our use of ab equipment.... Planks up to 45s; roman chair knee ups to eight, so still aways away from graduating to full hang and added weight. But progress apace.

Failed OMAD. Broke fast with 1/3 bagel, Keebler peanut butter cheese crackers and diet coke. Wasn't feeling the post workout steak. Only got down about a half pound. And a huge yam. Then a quart of half frozen Jimmie's chunky monkey 3.1. Early to bed. Up at midnight face down in the grilled chicken leftovers... 2700k on the button, but proteins low and fat up again...

Half ass programmed flexessory work for recovery day after deads. Not launching today, as I will be squatting instead, but going to keep drafting "day after" programs, so when I next take a recovery day, I can take the opportunity to launch the relevant flexessory work.

Look decent in clothes or with the right lighting, but the reality is that I have around 8# of pure fat that still needs to come off and am currently dropping a pound of fat every 10 days or so.... So beach bod just in time for Labor Day...

I don't think so.
