Day 6

Fourth consecutive day of fasting failure. Reverted to VLCD OMAD at just north of 400k. Best fasting fail so far!

Still haven't worked out my cut protocol and how I am going to make that work with my cooking and other family responsibilities. Right now I'm focused on fasting until Sunday dinner and constraining that refeed to ribeye, eggs, and feta.

One thing is clear, though, I have over the last year devolved into using eldercare responsibilities as an excuse for poor self care, eating as Valium, and resentment as a core coping mechanism. Shit storm last week with my youngest forced me to reassess everything, refocus priorities, and relaunch my lapsed daily practice. Frankly, to stop feeling sorry for myself and level up my parenting game and family leadership. So I am off to become the change I wish to see.

Let's go!

no matter what just don't give up. reset a 100 times if you need to. warrior's come back to the battlefield day after day, week after week. this is what sets us apart from them, the lazy assess, the ne sayers, the people talk shit but never do anything. stay strong...

Dude, I got you Spiritually and Mentally. Damn I soooo understand! When I can't feel Gratitude, something is 'not right' inside of me. My "Expectations" are the source of my problem 99.9% of the time (sigh).

can you make dual use of some of your time? lifting with a kid or walking with another? give you some quality time while working out. and put a kid in charge of meals, either shopping or prepping. do it!!!

The main thing is that you kicked your own self in the rear. That's basically all we need to do and continue doing it until we cannot anymore=FOR LIFE!!! Keep up the awesome work & when you feel like you don't want to do anything, that's when you have to kick yourself, again. LOL

Did a 3 day total fast at the beginning of 2021 this year and dropped from 165 to 160 then that Thursday took my grands out for Chinese including fried wonton stuffed with sour cream and Krab plus egg rolls (plural!!) and gained it all back in one freakin night!!! Water weight??? I don’t think so!

Dude- why do you go so hard all the time? Why not try something new like just eating when you are hungry and not being a fat ass and going overboard? And maybe I am confusing you with someone else (probably several people on FS)- why constantly try to fast and fail and fast and fail. I mean- you are down 2.2- that is fantastic- unsure why you are set on the fasting.

And for the record- I am not calling you a fat ass. I have no idea if you go overboard. I haven't been reviewing your diet calendar or anything.
