I have been buying the garlic in the peeled state as well. I simmer about half of it in olive oil for about 20 minutes until it becomes soft and mush when pressed. Put it into a jar and use the oil for my morning egg, spread the oil and a clove of garlic on sourdough bread. I also add it to any dish I make that requires the addition of garlic. Incredibly good.

And I love my 🇯🇲 food 😍. I don’t know how to cook any real 🇯🇲 food but always up for trying to use staple components like callaloo, jerk seasoning in my concoctions. Feel like I’m slightly disrespecting some foods but a girl gotta do what a girls gotta do 😄
