SPRING RECOMP 2021 - DAY 13 LIFT DAY
Another good day under the bar yesterday. Leftover Squats from Monday @ 10 X 175#, 5 reps over goal; Rows @ 8 X 105#, 3 reps over; Machine Crunch @ 8 X 170#, 3 reps over. Newbie gains.
And the piece de resistance.... Wide Pull Ups - unweighted..... 2.....down a rep... Oh well, can't win 'em all...
Had my main meal - steak, yams, and onions - pre-workout again. Little nap, then early to the gym. Thought I might just not eat post workout. Nah. Recycled the second pint of Jimmie's "Anabolic" Chunky Monkey (ACM) into a shake. 16 oz Almond Milk, 2 fat scoops whey, handful of rotting strawberries, sprinkle of stevia, and the ACM. That was one yummy and protein and calorie packed shake! One might think that one might simply stop eating after such a treat. Not. It was Taco Tuesday FFS, so tacos. Recycled leftover hanger steak and roasted onions, toasted up my tortillas on the griddle, topped it all with an ungodly pile of cheese and then under the broiler. God I love broilers!
If anyone knows of a 110V salamander appropriate for home use, please let me know. I found a Volrath unit at webstaurant, but am choking on the price tag....
3500k, 230p. I hate resorting to whey to jack up my protein, but the reality is that it is pretty difficult to get there eating meat.
Back remains unhappy. OK. Still haven't drafted my accessory/flexibility plan. OK. Onward.
