Directions
- Preheat oven to 375 °F (230 °C). Prepare muffin tins with liners or non-stick spray.
- Combine dry ingredients in one bowl and wet ingredients in a second bowl.
- Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients and stir to combine.
- Spoon batter into 32 muffin tins and cook for 25 minutes. Cool on wire rack.
- Note: can be frozen.

Made these exactly to the recipe as written except I left out the chocolate chips and added a tablespoon of low calorie brown sugar. As Yves336 noted, they came out very moist and dense. My mother makes Apple butter with low calorie sweetener and I topped them with that. A nice snack without too many calories. Thank you for this recipe. I will make these again.

Good flavor. Not too sweet. I left out the chocolate chips. Very moist and dense. May add 1/2t to 1 tsp of cinnamon next time.

If you leave out the water and spread them out thin, not more than an inch thick, you,ll end up with a breakfast bar.
